Wineries

Herron Island: Trillium Creek Winery in Lakebay is located on the mainland, about 5 minutes from The Herron Island Ferry Dock. They they specialize in low sulphate wines and offer winery tours and wine tasting.

Anderson Island: The Anderson Island Winery on Anderson Island is currently closed. We wish them the best of luck and hope this beautiful destination will re-open soon.

Golf

Anderson Island: Visit The Riviera 9 hole golf course on Anderson Island about 5 minutes from the house. On the mainland, visit the Chambers Bay Golf Course, Home of the 2015 US Open. Chambers Bay is a Scottish Linksland style court with spectacular views of the Puget Sound and snowcapped Olympic Mountains.

Herron Island: There are no golf courses in the vicinity of Herron Island.

Kayaks and Stand Up Paddle Boards

All of our beach houses include free use of Kayaks and Stand Up Paddle Boards. We supply paddles, life jackets and everything you need to explore the calm waters of Case Inlet and Oro Bay.

Dining

Anderson Island: The Riviera Lakeshore Restaurant and Bar and The Anderson Cafe are both located on island, just a few minutes from the house. Back on the mainland there are several great restaurants in the town of Steilacoom a couple minutes from the mainland ferry dock.

Herron Island: There are no store or restaurants on Herron Island. Visit Lulu’s Homeport Cafe and Lounge on the mainland about 5 minutes from the Herron Island Ferry Dock. Lulu's is a true country diner and bar that is greatly loved by locals. It’s nothing fancy but a good food and plenty of it. All of our beach houses have fully equipped kitchens and outdoor grills with everything you need to prepare meals that you’ll cherish forever.
